Brendan Curti has developed intratumoral cytokine delivery approaches including IL-2 formulations designed to concentrate immune activation within tumors while minimizing systemic toxicity. His clinical trials of intratumoral immune agonists in melanoma and renal cell carcinoma have demonstrated favorable safety-efficacy profiles. He has advanced the concept of localized immune activation as a complement to systemic immunotherapy.
