Crystal Mackall

Dr. Crystal Mackall at Stanford is a pioneering pediatric oncologist who advanced both the science of T cell homeostasis and clinical translation of CAR-T cell therapy for pediatric solid tumors. She conducted foundational work on T cell repertoire reconstitution after lymphodepletion and has led clinical trials of GD2-targeting CAR-T cells for pediatric solid tumors including DIPG. Her research on lymphodepletion regimens to enhance adoptive T cell transfer efficacy has become standard practice across CAR-T cell therapy programs.
