Clotilde Thery

Clotilde Thery is an internationally recognized authority on extracellular vesicle biology and leads the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles guidelines committee. She developed the Minimal Information for Studies of Extracellular Vesicles (MISEV) guidelines that standardize EV research worldwide. Her research characterized the molecular composition of exosomes from cancer cells and their functional roles in tumor progression. She has published seminal studies on how cancer-derived exosomes reprogram recipient cells.
