👥Biography 个人简介

Christine Iacobuzio-Donahue is a pioneering pancreatic cancer molecular pathologist whose autopsy-based genomic studies have elucidated the clonal evolution and metastatic progression of pancreatic cancer. She discovered that pancreatic cancer metastasis involves specific genomic alterations and can take more than a decade to develop, providing a window for early intervention. Her work on SMAD4/DPC4 loss as a biomarker of metastatic propensity has guided clinical decision-making. She leads the MSK Rubenstein Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
