Christine Bhatt

Christine Bhatt specializes in HER2-positive breast cancer with central nervous system involvement, an increasingly prevalent challenge as systemic therapies improve survival. Her clinical research contributed to the HER2CLIMB trial showing tucatinib's activity in patients with active brain metastases from HER2+ breast cancer. She studies blood-brain barrier penetration of HER2-targeted agents and optimal sequencing of CNS-directed treatments. Her work is defining the standard of care for HER2+ breast cancer brain metastases.
