👥Biography 个人简介

Cheryl Arrowsmith has led the Structural Genomics Consortium's systematic effort to create high-quality chemical probes for every epigenetic protein family, providing the cancer research community with validated tool compounds for target validation. Her structural biology work has solved crystal structures of dozens of epigenetic reader, writer, and eraser proteins in complex with histone peptides and inhibitors. She established open-science principles for epigenetic drug discovery that accelerated the field by sharing chemical probes without intellectual property restrictions. Her comprehensive structural and chemical biology platform has enabled rational design of next-generation epigenetic cancer drugs.
