Chen Dong at Tsinghua University is a leading immunologist who has made foundational contributions to T helper cell differentiation biology, particularly ICOS signaling and Th17/Tfh cell development. His work on how T helper cell polarization shapes anti-tumor immunity and how ICOS-ICOSL costimulation regulates effector and regulatory T cell balance is informing strategies to enhance anti-tumor immune responses through T cell biology modulation.
