👥Biography 个人简介

Charlie Gourley leads translational and clinical research on high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSOC) biology and fallopian tube origin, including studies supporting salpingectomy as a cancer prevention intervention. He leads the UKBOCS (UK and Ireland BRCA1/2 Cohort Study) and has contributed to characterizing BRCA1 reversion mutations as a mechanism of PARP inhibitor resistance. His Edinburgh group has published extensively on genomic predictors of PARP inhibitor sensitivity and resistance in the ovarian/fallopian tube/peritoneal carcinoma spectrum.
