👥Biography 个人简介

Andrew Chan has made landmark contributions elucidating the mechanisms by which aspirin prevents colorectal cancer through COX-2-dependent and -independent pathways, and has demonstrated that the gut microbiome modifies aspirin chemoprevention efficacy. His molecular pathological epidemiology studies have identified subtypes of colorectal cancer that are specifically preventable by aspirin and other agents. He leads precision chemoprevention research integrating host genetics, tumor molecular subtypes, and microbiome profiling.
