Celestia Higano

Celestia Higano at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson has devoted her career to the clinical management and clinical trial conduct in metastatic prostate cancer. She contributed to sipuleucel-T (Provenge) development trials and has extensive expertise in androgen deprivation therapy, its complications, and optimization in hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. Her work includes defining intermittent ADT strategies and their impact on quality of life. She is a founding contributor to the Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium (PCCTC).
