Peter Campbell has used whole-genome sequencing to map the landscape of somatic mutations in normal tissues and cancers, including the clonal architecture of hematopoiesis. His group has produced comprehensive phylogenetic reconstructions of human blood development. He continues to investigate mutational processes driving CHIP and leukemogenesis.
