Camilla Zimmermann

Camilla Zimmermann leads one of the world's largest palliative care research programs at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Her research examines the psychological dimensions of palliative care, including communication about prognosis, existential distress, and the transition from curative to palliative intent. She has conducted major trials demonstrating benefits of specialized palliative care teams on patient-reported outcomes. Her work integrates qualitative and quantitative methods to understand the full patient and caregiver experience of living with advanced cancer.
