Kristy Brock

Kristy Brock has developed deformable image registration and dose accumulation methods that are critical for tracking delivered dose in adaptive dose painting, enabling accurate assessment of actual versus planned dose distributions over a course of fractionated radiation therapy. Her biomechanical modeling approaches provide physically realistic deformation fields for organs that undergo complex motion and shape changes during treatment. She leads research on functional imaging integration for liver SBRT dose painting and adaptive radiation therapy.
