Ruth Brinkley

Ruth Brinkley was among the early American radiation oncologists who helped build clinical radiotherapy practice in the mid-twentieth century with a focus on gynecologic radium therapy. She contributed to early brachytherapy experience in the United States. She is remembered as a trailblazer for women in radiation oncology.
