Dr. Brian Rubin is a leading sarcoma and GIST pathologist who has contributed substantially to understanding the molecular pathology and classification of GIST, including characterization of SDH-deficient and NF1-associated GIST subtypes. His laboratory studies have defined morphological and molecular criteria for GIST diagnosis and risk stratification. His expertise in molecular pathology has been critical for companion diagnostic development in GIST.
