Brian Rini has made defining contributions to systemic therapy for advanced renal cell carcinoma, from establishing sunitinib as a benchmark to leading KEYNOTE-426 that changed the frontline standard of care with pembrolizumab plus axitinib. His research has explored biomarkers of IO response in RCC and combination TKI/IO strategies. He has been a principal investigator on more RCC registration trials than virtually any other investigator in the field.
