Brian Lichty

Brian Lichty at McMaster has contributed to developing Maraba virus-based oncolytic immunotherapies, including a heterologous prime-boost vaccination approach using adenovirus-encoded antigen followed by Maraba virus boost to amplify cancer-antigen-specific T cell responses. His work on using oncolytic viruses as cancer vaccines and on the immunological mechanisms of oncolytic therapy has advanced the cancer immunotherapy applications of oncolytic viruses.
