Brian Bhatt specializes in the biology and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, with emphasis on BCR signaling and therapeutic targeting. His research has characterized CLL cell dependence on microenvironmental BCR signals and developed strategies to disrupt these interactions. He has investigated mechanisms of Richter transformation from CLL to aggressive lymphoma. His clinical research has advanced BTK inhibitor therapy combinations and identified biomarkers of resistance and transformation.
