Brendan Moran established and directs the UK's national specialist centre for pseudomyxoma peritonei and peritoneal malignancy at Basingstoke. He has built one of the world's largest single-institution series for CRS + HIPEC in pseudomyxoma peritonei and appendiceal neoplasms, training surgeons internationally and shaping UK NICE guidance on peritoneal surface oncology.
