Melissa Bondy is an epidemiologist at Baylor College of Medicine whose research has focused on gene-environment interactions in brain tumor etiology, particularly examining how genetic susceptibility to environmental carcinogens varies among individuals. Her studies on pesticide exposure, DNA repair gene polymorphisms, and glioma risk have advanced understanding of environmental contributions to brain cancer.
