Blake Bhatt

Blake Bhatt is an expert in robotic and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer, having helped establish robotic lobectomy as a viable minimally invasive alternative to VATS and open thoracotomy for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. His research has compared perioperative outcomes and long-term oncologic results of robotic versus VATS lobectomy, examining nodal upstaging rates, surgical margins, and survival in patients with clinical stage I-II NSCLC.
