Aaron Blair is a scientist emeritus at the NCI who established the Agricultural Health Study, the largest prospective investigation of cancer among pesticide applicators and farming families. His research on occupational pesticide exposure and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, leukemia, and prostate cancer has provided definitive evidence for cancer risks in agricultural workers. His expertise in occupational cancer epidemiology has made him one of the most cited authorities in IARC evaluations of occupational carcinogens.
