Birgit Geoerger at Gustave Roussy leads European pediatric oncology early phase clinical trials and has been instrumental in extending immunotherapy to pediatric cancers. She was a principal investigator in pediatric trials of pembrolizumab and has led ITCC (Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer) consortium studies bringing novel agents to children with relapsed/refractory malignancies.
