👥Biography 个人简介
Bharat Bhatt studies clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and its role as a precursor state for hematologic malignancies. His research has characterized the landscape of somatic mutations in clonal hematopoiesis and identified mutations in DNMT3A, TET2, and ASXL1 that confer competitive fitness advantages to hematopoietic stem cells. He has investigated environmental and hereditary factors that drive CHIP expansion and transformation to overt leukemia. His work informs surveillance and early intervention strategies for CHIP.
