Bertrand Coiffier is a legendary figure in lymphoma research who pioneered the incorporation of rituximab into lymphoma treatment through the landmark GELA LNH-98.5 trial in DLBCL, and contributed substantially to indolent lymphoma treatment frameworks including marginal zone lymphoma. His career spans decades of foundational clinical investigations in B-cell lymphomas. He has mentored a generation of French and European lymphoma specialists.
