Alice Bertaina

Alice Bertaina has advanced haploidentical transplantation and allogeneic cell therapy approaches at Stanford University, developing TCR-alpha-beta T cell depletion strategies that enable safe haploidentical donor transplants with reduced graft-versus-host disease. Her work on graft engineering techniques allows selective depletion of alloreactive cells while preserving anti-tumor and anti-infection immunity. She is investigating allogeneic NK cell therapy platforms as off-the-shelf options for pediatric malignancies.
