👥Biography 个人简介

Bert Vogelstein at Johns Hopkins is the world's most cited cancer researcher and co-discoverer of the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor gene and the stepwise model of colorectal cancer evolution. His work with colleague Kenneth Kinzler established the genetic roadmap for colorectal cancer from polyp to carcinoma, creating the blueprint for cancer genomics. He has contributed to liquid biopsy technology and the multi-cancer early detection concept through ctDNA analysis. His career has shaped the entire conceptual and methodological landscape of precision oncology.
