👥Biography 个人简介

The evidence on mammography screening and its benefit-harm balance has been extensively debated — randomized trials show a mortality reduction but overdiagnosis (detecting cancers that would never cause symptoms) is real. The USPSTF 2024 guidelines recommending annual mammography starting at age 40 represent a shift toward more aggressive screening based on updated evidence and lifetime absolute risk reduction calculations. The debate on screening optimization continues for different age groups and risk levels.
