Christine Berg

Christine Berg led the National Lung Screening Trial that established low-dose CT as the standard for lung cancer screening and has applied her extensive screening trial expertise to the evaluation of multi-cancer early detection technologies. Her work on integrating MCED blood tests with existing imaging-based screening programs has addressed the practical challenge of combining multiple screening modalities. Her research on screening trial design and analysis has been foundational to establishing evidence standards for novel cancer detection technologies.
