Benjamin Vincent has advanced understanding of MHC class II expression on tumor cells and its impact on anti-tumor CD4+ T cell responses. His work revealed that tumor cell-intrinsic MHC-II expression predicts immunotherapy response across cancer types and that CIITA-driven MHC-II on tumor cells enhances neoantigen presentation to helper T cells. He has established that CD4+ T cell responses against MHC-II-presented neoantigens are critical for durable immunotherapy benefit.
