Benjamin Besse is one of Europe's foremost thoracic oncologists, directing a major lung cancer clinical research program at Gustave Roussy. He has contributed to multiple international SCLC trials and led translational studies on predictive biomarkers for immunotherapy response in small cell lung cancer. His clinical research portfolio spans SCLC through rare thoracic tumors including pulmonary carcinoids and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. He co-chairs ELCC and has been involved in ESMO and IASLC guideline development.
