Barbara Eichhorst

Barbara Eichhorst is the chair of the German CLL Study Group and a leading European CLL clinical trialist. She has led landmark trials establishing venetoclax-obinutuzumab as a time-limited first-line treatment for CLL and has contributed to defining the role of FCR chemoimmunotherapy in IGHV-mutated patients. Her group runs one of the world's most productive CLL clinical trial networks and has contributed to understanding the optimal sequencing of available CLL therapies. She serves on multiple EMA and European hematology guideline committees.
