Axel Hauschild

Axel Hauschild is one of Europe's foremost melanoma specialists and has been a principal investigator on many pivotal global melanoma trials. He has contributed to development of BRAF/MEK inhibitor therapy and adjuvant immunotherapy for melanoma through landmark trials. His expertise spans early-stage to metastatic melanoma and rare skin cancers including Merkel cell carcinoma. He is active in European melanoma guidelines development and has co-authored hundreds of publications that have shaped standard of care for melanoma globally.
