Dr. Axel Grothey is a GI oncologist with extensive expertise in colorectal cancer treatment and a leader in ctDNA-guided adjuvant therapy approaches. He has contributed to analyses of circulating tumor DNA as a minimal residual disease biomarker to personalize adjuvant chemotherapy decisions in stage II-III colon cancer. His work on the CIRCULATE and DYNAMIC trial concepts has shaped the emerging paradigm of ctDNA-adaptive colon cancer management.
