Arlene Sharpe

Prof. Arlene Sharpe at Harvard Medical School has contributed landmark research on the PD-1 pathway and B7 family ligands in immune regulation. She characterized how PD-L1 and PD-L2 engage PD-1 to maintain peripheral tolerance and demonstrated the role of this pathway in tumor immune escape.
