Anthony Goncalves

Anthony Goncalves is a French breast oncologist who has contributed to characterizing TNBC subtypes beyond the triple-negative designation, particularly the androgen receptor-positive subset. His laboratory and clinical research has investigated androgen receptor targeting as a therapeutic strategy in this TNBC subset. He has conducted clinical trials of PARP inhibitors and other targeted agents in TNBC and has been involved in translational correlative studies examining mechanisms of sensitivity and resistance. He leads breast cancer research at Institut Paoli-Calmettes.
