Annick Desjardins has led innovative clinical trials in recurrent GBM, including the landmark study of recombinant oncolytic poliovirus therapy targeting EGFRvIII-expressing GBM. Her work on intratumoral delivery of novel agents has opened new avenues for GBM therapy. She has contributed to understanding patterns of GBM recurrence, pseudo-progression, and response to immunotherapy-based approaches.
