Anne Tsao

Anne Tsao at MD Anderson Cancer Center directs one of the premier mesothelioma programs and has contributed to advancing multimodality treatment approaches integrating surgery, chemotherapy, and novel systemic therapies. Her research has evaluated mesothelin-targeting strategies and tumor treating fields (TTFields) in mesothelioma, contributing to the STELLAR trial that led to TTFields approval. She has been a principal investigator on multiple novel agent trials in mesothelioma including anti-mesothelin antibody-drug conjugates. Her work on defining optimal patient selection for aggressive multimodality approaches has refined treatment algorithms.
