👥Biography 个人简介

Anne Brunet at Stanford has made major contributions to understanding FOXO transcription factors — downstream targets of AKT that are suppressed by oncogenic PI3K/AKT signaling. Her work demonstrating that FOXOs function as tumor suppressors by inducing apoptosis, cell cycle arrest, and stress resistance has established the AKT-FOXO axis as a critical cancer signaling node. Her more recent work on aging and stem cell biology has connections to cancer susceptibility.
