Andrew Scott at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute has contributed to radioimmunotherapy — combining antibodies or antibody fragments with cytotoxic radionuclides for targeted cancer therapy. His work on FAP-targeted radioligand therapies for the tumor stroma and on novel antibody-radionuclide conjugates for solid tumors addresses the challenge of delivering cytotoxic radiation selectively to heterogeneous cancer targets.
