👥Biography 个人简介

Andrea Richardson is a breast pathologist and researcher who has characterized the molecular drivers of rare salivary gland-type breast cancers, including the MYB-NFIB fusion in adenoid cystic carcinoma and the ETV6-NTRK3 fusion in secretory carcinoma. These molecular insights have direct therapeutic implications: ETV6-NTRK3-positive secretory carcinoma responds to TRK inhibitors such as larotrectinib. Her work on classifying and molecularly profiling rare breast cancer entities has improved diagnostic accuracy and identified actionable targets in otherwise treatment-refractory diseases.
