Andrea Richardson

Andrea Richardson is a breast pathologist and researcher who has characterized the molecular drivers of rare salivary gland-type breast cancers, including the MYB-NFIB fusion in adenoid cystic carcinoma and the ETV6-NTRK3 fusion in secretory carcinoma. These molecular insights have direct therapeutic implications: ETV6-NTRK3-positive secretory carcinoma responds to TRK inhibitors such as larotrectinib.
