Ana Cristina Ferrari

Ana Cristina Ferrari leads a dedicated rare breast tumor program and has contributed to understanding the biology, molecular characteristics, and treatment of phyllodes tumors, metaplastic breast cancers, and other unusual breast histologies. She has established multi-institutional registries for rare breast cancer patients and participated in umbrella basket trial designs targeting actionable mutations in rare subtypes. Her clinical program has enrolled male breast cancer patients and patients with rare histologies into biomarker-driven trials at NYU Langone.
