Amanda Paulovich at Fred Hutch has contributed to cancer proteomics, including leadership in the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) — an NCI-funded program comprehensively characterizing the proteomes and phosphoproteomes of multiple cancer types. CPTAC has enabled integration of proteomic and genomic data (proteogenomics) to reveal how cancer driver mutations translate into altered protein signaling, identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities not apparent from genomics alone.
