Alexander Anderson
PhD
Principal Investigator, Cancer Immunology Program
👥Biography 个人简介
Alexander Anderson is a leading basic scientist in the TIM-3 checkpoint pathway, having characterized the biology of TIM-3 as an inhibitory molecule on exhausted CD8+ T cells and a regulator of innate immune cell function. His fundamental work on the structure, ligands, and signaling of TIM-3 formed the scientific basis for the clinical development of anti-TIM-3 antibodies including sabatolimab. He has investigated TIM-3 in the context of tumor immunity and hematologic malignancies, and his publications are foundational references for the checkpoint inhibitor field.
