Bissan Al-Lazikani

Bissan Al-Lazikani applies artificial intelligence and network pharmacology to predict synergistic anti-cancer drug combinations, using machine learning models trained on large-scale combination screening data and biological network features to identify combinations with high probability of synergy before experimental testing. Her research at the Institute of Cancer Research has developed computational frameworks for understanding how drugs interact through biological network perturbation and for predicting patient-specific combination therapy responses based on tumor molecular profiles. Her work is accelerating the rational design of combination cancer therapies.
