Her work on the bidirectional seizure-tumor growth relationship has shown that seizure activity stimulates glioma proliferation while tumor growth increases cortical excitability, creating a vicious cycle. Her research on EEG biomarkers in glioma has identified non-invasive electrophysiological signatures that predict tumor progression and response to therapy.
