Rene Adam directs the Paul Brousse hepato-biliary center and founded the international LiverMetSurvey registry that defined outcomes in CRLM surgery. He pioneered conversion chemotherapy to render initially unresectable CRLM resectable and leads the TRANSMET trial of liver transplantation for unresectable CRLM. His work has expanded resectability worldwide.
