Robert S. Langer

Robert Langer is the most cited engineer in history and a pioneer in drug delivery and biomaterials. His work has enabled controlled release drug delivery systems and the biomaterials platforms underlying many gene therapy approaches. Langer co-founded Moderna and numerous other biotechnology companies.
