John L. Rinn
Ph.D.
Professor of Biochemistry
👥Biography 个人简介
John Rinn is a pioneer in the discovery and functional characterization of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). His work has revealed that lncRNAs play critical roles in gene regulation, development, and disease, including cancer. Rinn's discovery of HOTAIR, a lncRNA that regulates chromatin state, provided a paradigm for understanding how non-coding transcripts control gene expression.
