Ellen Stovall (1947–2016) was a two-time cancer survivor and long-serving President and CEO of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS). A pioneer of the modern cancer survivorship movement, she led advocacy that transformed survivorship from an afterthought into a recognized phase of cancer care with dedicated standards, research, and policy support.
